City and county offices closed for the holidays

All City and Garland County offices and departments, except Public Safety and the Airport, will be closed today for the Labor Day holiday.

Residential sewers in the city will be one day behind schedule, while commercial sewers will operate as scheduled. Door-to-door collection service in the county will continue as planned. The city’s composting facility and the Garland County landfill will both be closed.

The transportation depot, including Intracity Transit buses and paratransit services, will also be closed.

Whittington fountain to close for improvements
