Stanly County 4-H is here to help everyone get a head start on spring planting this year. She will sell fruit plants and fruit trees.
Stanly County 4-H is taking orders for plant sales through Feb. 25. Plant pickup will be at the Agricultural Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 3.
All proceeds will go to Stanly County Youth 4-H programming.
The 4-H sale offers a variety of fruit plants including blueberries, muscadines, figs and blackberries. The fruit trees available are: apple, peach, pear, plum and pecan. To reduce personal contact, it is best for customers to mail their payments and ask everyone else to bring exact cash or a check on the day of pick-up (no cards will be accepted).
Stanly County 4-H is a program offered by Cooperative Extension that serves youth ages 5-18 with leadership roles, positive youth-adult relationships, and lifelong skills.
