Walmart thanks staff by closing Thanksgiving Day

It looks like Christmas is coming a bit early for Walmart employees this year. Friday, Walmart announced that all stores will close for Thanksgiving Day November 25. Now, let’s not be selfish here and don’t feel bothered by this kind of overdue news.

Walmart is the store that remains the most open than other retailers. Workers employed at Walmart have seen and heard certain things while working, especially during the holidays. Walmart employees certainly do a magnificent job as essentials during the deadly (pandemic) and busiest times of Black Friday.

Fortunately, every Walmart employee can skip the turkey drama this year and truly enjoy Thanksgiving Day with their loved ones. This is something that Walmart employees will certainly appreciate and be grateful for. Now, that just means a lot of us will need to get the correct Thanksgiving Day grocery list the first time around.

I admit that I am one of those who will count badly thanks to a basket filled to the max. This leads me to take a quick trip to Walmart for the last minute ingredients I miss and need. Well, Walmart won’t be opening this year to show its gratitude to its hard-working staff.

This will be the second time that the closure will make this missed time. Walmart will share more details on Black Friday on November 26, at a later date. This is something that would be considered freezing hell just because Walmart typically never closes but never says never.
